Volunteering and Communities

Enabling people to contribute their time, skills and talents for their own and community’s benefit through volunteering.

Volunteer Health Champions (North and South Norfolk)

Health Volunteers bring support and friendship to residents experiencing social isolation or who face the challenge of long-term health conditions.

Non-Emergency Patient Transport Volunteer Service

Volunteers provide a home–to–home service for patients accessing outpatients’ clinics and specialist treatment centres, including dialysis units.

Norfolk Community Health and Care

Volunteer support to reduce loneliness, improve well-being, confidence and access to information about health and social care services.

Digital Inclusion

Our volunteers enable Norwich residents to develop the skills and capabilities to access digital technologies, increasing their confidence and resilience.

Employment Support

The Hive, Talent Match and Norfolk Community College Drop-in and one-to-one employment support for 18-24s (Talent Match) and over 25s (Norfolk Community College).

Referral information for GPs/clinicians only

Volunteer Health Champions (North and South Norfolk)

Referrals can be made via social care teams, self-referral, GPs, housing authorities and some other charities/voluntary sector service providers working in the relevant fields.

Digital Inclusion

Any Norwich resident who wants to get digital skills support can take part in this project. Employment Support Self-referral and referrals from organisations welcome
