About us

MAP's vision is that all young people will know what it is to be valued and have the support/information needed for successful transition to adulthood

Services

AGES 11-25 yrs (ALL SERVICES ARE FREE OF CHARGE)

ADVICE on practical things that might affect young people

welfare and your rights ;employment; education/training; money/debt; housing/homelessness; sexual health; relationships; being a parent; your family; fun things to do

THERAPEUTIC SERVICES - one-off sessions or multiple over longer period of time

Help with resolving specific problems. making difficult decisions, coping with a crisis, understanding yourself better, or improving relationships with others

YOUTH WORK offers opportunities to learn about oneself, others, and the community

Positive activities help to recognise own strengths, develop confidence and new interests, and gain a sense of belonging and aspiration

EDUCATION in life skills, employment, and for fellow professionals

MAP runs a variety of short courses covering such skills as parenting and PHSE.  Training resources also available for fellow professionals.
